Siemens Energy is currently seeking a Graduate Engineer Trainee to join our team in Pune, India. This role offers an exciting opportunity for recent graduates in Mechanical Engineering to develop their skills and contribute to innovative projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize NX software for modeling, assembly, and drafting.
- Develop expression-based parametric solid models.
- Engage in surface and interpart (WAVE) modeling.
- Apply best practices in modeling strategies.
- Participate in Product Data Management (PDM) processes using Teamcenter Engineering (TCE).
- Create User Defined Features (UDFs) and part families for design reuse.
- Contribute to drawing automation initiatives.
- Collaborate in a cross-functional, team-based environment with Siemens engineers and third-party consultants.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong academic background and knowledge in the mechanical domain.
- Familiarity with Siemens NX CAD software.
- Basic programming skills.
- Understanding of Siemens Energy products such as centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors, and gas turbines.
- Experience in developing engineering automation software applications is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
