Job Summary
As a Quality Engineer, you'll perform various tests to ensure units function as per specifications or diagnose failures using test instruments. You'll read test schedules, work orders, manuals, and schematics to determine procedures and perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections. 📊🔍
Responsibilities
- 📄 Develop documentation of the Quality Management System per ISO 9001:2015.
- 🔍 Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections based on prints and specifications.
- 📑 Administer document control for quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, non-conformances, and inspection reports.
- 🛠 Assist with internal audits and calibration activities (internal & external).
- 🤝 Resolve quality issues raised by customers and suppliers (may audit suppliers).
- 🎓 Conduct and oversee quality system training for company personnel.
Basic Qualifications
- 🎓 Diploma/BE in Mechanical
- 🔧 4+ years of experience in manufacturing/quality environments and ISO certification processes.
- 🛠 Basic understanding of assembly methods and use of conventional measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, etc.).
- 📐 Ability to read blueprints and product specification documents.
- 💻 Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel and Word).
- 🧐 Understanding of ISO procedures and basic root cause analysis methods (5W1H, 5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.).
Travel & Work Arrangements
This position is fully onsite. 🚩
Key Competencies
- 🔍 Proficient in using standard inspection equipment.
- 🛠 Experience with fabrication and weld inspection (preferred).
- 💻 Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- 📏 Experience with Faro portable CMM equipment is a plus.
- 🔬 Familiarity with NDE inspection methods (VT, PT, MT, UT, X-Ray) is a plus.
