Senior Engineer Production at ABB
Join ABB as a Senior Engineer Production. Lead production teams, optimize operational performance, and contribute to innovation in transportation electrification. Play a crucial role in our Motion Traction Division based in Vadodara.
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will supervise shift teams and ensure the proper use of machinery, equipment, and assembly lines. You’ll collaborate closely with the unit supervisor to enhance production quality, resolve operational issues, and reinforce production schedules.
- Supervise shift team’s progress against work plans and provide regular feedback to management.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and contribute to continuous operational improvements.
- Ensure adherence to production specifications, budgets, and operational performance metrics.
- Collaborate with the Operational Excellence teams to reduce non-value added costs and increase product yields.
- Provide support to Sales during customer visits, showcasing the capabilities of manufacturing facilities.
Qualifications for the Role
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in Rotating Machines, preferably in traction motor manufacturing.
- Strong background in production management and manufacturing processes.
