Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes for propellant production. 

• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve process issues, providing solutions for increased production reliability and quality.

• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and evaluations to maintain quality control throughout the manufacturing process. 

• Implement corrective and preventive actions to address any deviations from quality standards.

• Work with product development teams to design and scale up new propellant products and processes.

• Participate in the design and layout of manufacturing systems, equipment, and tools to improve production capabilities.

• Manage the introduction of new production lines, machinery, and process improvements, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. 

• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure minimal downtime of production equipment. 

• Analyze production data to identify trends and forecast potential equipment needs or improvements.

• Prepare technical documentation, including process flows, work instructions, and operational procedures. 

• Create and maintain reports on production performance, quality metrics, and project progress. 

• Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and certifications as required.

 


Qualifications

Educational Qualification 


Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Experiences


Minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the defence, aerospace, or chemical industries.

Proficiency in CAD software, process simulation, and manufacturing technologies. 

Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. 

Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory requirements, particularly related to hazardous materials and propellant production. 

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
