Join **Tata Motors** as a **Module Lead – Engine Mounting** and take charge of designing and developing engine/transmission mounting systems and suspension bushes for UV & Q5 projects. This role is crucial in ensuring powertrain integration (PTI) components meet performance, cost, and weight targets.

Position Summary

This role is a replacement for the current Module Lead and will focus on leading the **design, analysis, and development** of **engine/transmission mounting systems** for Tata Motors’ **Passenger Vehicle Business Unit (PVBU)** projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead **design & development of mounting systems** (engine/transmission) and **suspension bushes**.
• Conduct **6-DOF analysis** and propose solutions to optimize cost, weight, and PAT targets.
• Benchmark and select appropriate mount/bush designs for optimal performance.
• Prepare **RFI/RFQ & SOR** documents for procurement.
• Utilize **Pro-E** for CAD modeling and simulation.
• Manage **PLM system, BOM structure, and DMU environment**.
• Ensure compatibility with **powertrain system’s dynamic envelope**.
• Analyze **NVH characteristics** (key on/off, idle, rattle, boom, impact harshness, ride compliance).
• Coordinate with suppliers and validation agencies during the design and development phases.
• Drive technology adoption for **hydromounts, hydrobushes, and active mount technology**.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in **Mechanical/Automotive/Production Engineering**.
• Experience in **engine/transmission mounting system design**.
• Proficiency in **Pro-E, NVH analysis, and 6-DOF simulations**.
• Strong knowledge of **rubber/elastomers and their applications**.
