- Specific Education- High school + Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Work Experience- 5 - 10 years
- Special Skills- Operation knowledge of biomass based boiler.
Job Highlights
Following are the main Job Responsibilities:_
- To operate turbine and its auxiliary equipment in shifts safely and economically as per guideline and standard operating practices. To record data, events and other activity in prescribed format on hourly basis.
- To guide turbine field Engineer for turbine operation and aux equipments to maintain parameters within the prescribed limits.
- To ensure turbine auxiliaries running without any problem and report any abnormality to shift engineer. Major & minor repair and change overs of DCS- Auxiliaries, pumps, compressor , equipment of entire plant.
- To start turbine from cold and hot condition as per SOP & to shut down the turbine safely in case of emergency.
- To ensure process steam parameter as per standard from extraction and PRDS.
- To charge PRDS in case of any stoppage or tripping in turbine & to synchronize turbine with grid when required with help of shift electrician.
- To ensure to meet target such as less grid power & Grasim steam consumption as per the key deliverable guidelines.
- Safe & efficient running of the thermal power plant handling the desk operation of TG. Ensure process steam parameter as per standard from TG and PRDS.
- Ensure all safety inter locks of DCS system is intact & no system bypassed.
