POSITION SUMMARY (Briefly summarize position’s purpose/ role/ responsibilities)
Role
- Physical and Electrical Testing of Cables HT & EHV Cables.
- High Voltage, Partial Discharge, Impulse Testing, Heating Cycle, Type Test & Routine Testing of HT & EHV as per IS and IEC Standards up to 220 KV.
- Customer Inspection within the stipulated time period.
- Coordination with sales team.
- Ensuring that working processes (testing & documentation, etc) are efficient and adhered to.
- Making recommendations for process improvement demonstrating regular audits and necessary amendments.
- Communicate proactively and professionally with clients and colleagues.
Experience & Competences
- Experience in Manufacturing Industry testing of cables ( HT & EHV )
- Conversant with latest technology, testing machines and industry - product standards and specifications
- Good knowledge of Manufacturing Practices/ Processes
- Effective English communication both spoken and written and good IT Skills.
- Understand Business Priorities and good Organizing skills.
- Good Influencing Skills.
- Analytical Approach and Customer Focus.
