3 Job Description for Aditya Birla Process Engineer
1) Job Purpose
This incumbent of this role is responsible for developing processes related to manufacturing of components related to EV 4W segment
4) Key Result Areas/Accountabilities: Job holder can have around 10-14 yrs of experience with auto ancillary or Auto OEM. He/she should have techno-commercial background
He will be responsible for process development for 4W component development
He will be responsible for developing equipment at supplier as per the specifications
Job Responsibilities at Aditya Birla
Supporting Actions
Support prototype development
Establish proto control plan and arrive at check to come up with quality product- Oversee proto development at supplier end and capture lessons learnt during prototyping
Process developed as per product requirements
Establish Process Flow Diagram for the required manufacturing- Participate in DFMEA review and understand high RPN scenarios to capture in PFMEA
- Establish through PFMEA and work with plant quality to establish control plan
- Establish equipment validation guidelines and prove out equipment at the supplier
Lean Manufacturing
Establishes lean manufacturing methods- Production design, tools or machines and methods to ensure maximum manufacturing capability
- increase productivity and ensure safety standards
New Product Development
Need to be aware of automotive NPD process (APQP)- Interact with customer and solve any development issues
- Visit customer plant to participate in the vehicle fitment trials and capture issues
- Establish root causes analysis for all issues reported by customer
