You will be working as Testing Engineer and will be part of Motion - IEC LV Motors division business based in Vadodara, India. In this role you will be reporting to the Business Manager - Operations. You will be primarily responsible to Perform and coordinate testing of traction motors for ABB products in accordance with customer specifications and requirements. Ensure timely response to customer, cost-effective solutions in accordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelines.
Your responsibilities for ABB vadodara Jobs
- Performing and coordinating testing of traction motors for ABB products as per specifications and customer requirements. Being single point contact person for customer inspections, dispatch document activities and ABB internal teams for testing
- Going into the details of product, electrical insulation, electrical testing of each manufacturing process, select instrument, coordinate with laboratories to perform the calibration & tests
- Involving in selection of test equipment, installation, commissioning and maintenance
- Coordinating technical resolution with after sales service and/ or spare parts teams
- Recommending appropriate solution for customer requests and coordinates with related teams to ensure the complete handling of the request (e.g. production capability and scheduling, resourcing, invoice is in place, dispatch activities)
- Participating in customer support related development projects (e.g. tools, competences, resources)
- Tracking regular target performance and provides results to management. Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the entire process
Education required for this ABB post
- BE/ BTech/Diploma in Electrical engineering
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Low / High Voltage Motors
- Experience in similar products/ rotating machines CGL, Bharat Bijilee etc.
