Required Skills :

Testing of all kind of HVAC Products Knowledge of applicable Indian and international standards for HVAC testing and certifications Maintenance of key documents including required for accreditation of NABL, AHRI certification, QCO etc Knowledge of lab equipment’s and their maintenance, calibrations etc Processes of lab operations Supervisory skills : Communication, resource management, CFT work , Conflict management , Vendor management

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Testing of all kind of HVAC products in respective labs per required standard ( Analysis of test data/test conditions/report generation/ release).   
• Follow the procedures and maintain documents as per NABL, AHRI, QCO etc
• Prepare test schedule of the laboratory in consultation with respective program manager/Engineer
• Managing daily lab schedule, Shift management, managing conflicts and prioritization.  
• Planning & arranging weekly lab resources requirement including technicians, material, utility etc.
• Monitor quality management system & quality procedure implementation in labs 
• Manage annual calibrations plan for key lab equipment
• Monitor TPM activities per annual plan   
• Lab break down management /work with lab vendors for quick resolution  
• Support executing key compliance and certification audits, record management  
• Prepare and release Lab MIS , track key lab efficiency metrics.
• Manage Lab productivity projects
• Follow & reinforce EH&S guidelines to lab staff

EDUCATION PREFERRED:

Diploma/ Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

Design & development experience (3 years of experience as above) required as below:

• Essential Competencies/ Primary Skill Set:
  • Testing of all kind of HVAC Products
  • Lab operations
  • Knowledge of lab equipment’s and their maintenance, calibrations etc
  • Maintenance of key lab related documents including required for accreditation of NABL, AHRI certification, QCO etc

• Desirable Competencies/ Secondary Skill Set:
  • Knowledge of applicable Indian and international standards for HVAC testing and certifications

OTHER COMPETENCIES:

• English communication skills - oral and written.
• Computer/ IT skills for daily lab operations
• Ability to adapt quickly
• Passionate about effectiveness of lab operations
• Self-starter who can work on his/her own with key stakeholders and complete the assigned task
