Your new role – challenging and future-oriented
- Prepare and release Quality Assurance Plan for electrical components like Power Panels, Control Panels, Generator, Motors, etc
- Establishes appropriate Quality control of delivered goods and services according to business and product risks.
- Issues complaint management process of detected non-conformances and runs root cause analysis. Communicates to supplier and quality management.
- Conducts Quality inspections at supplier site or incoming inspections. Closely cooperates with component engineering.
- Provides technology support for materials or products and elaborates testing specifications.
- Evaluates and reports on supplier performance and supports definitions of effective measures.
- Participates in quality meetings with suppliers.
- Drive Lean/digitization/cost out improvements
- Third Party Inspection agency management
We don’t need superheroes, just super minds
- Should be BE in Electrical/Instrumentation having minimum 08 / Diploma in Electrical having minimum 12 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Internal Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001.
- Experience as Third Party Inspector or Self Testing at Factory or Site
Technical skills required:
- Sound understanding and hands on experience in inspection of Powerplant commodities like, Generator, Power Panels , Control Panels, Motors, etc
- Good understanding of reading and interpreting engineering drawings like SLD, GAD
- Should have knowledge of Standards for Electrical/Instrumentation Components like IEC, IS,
- Know how on Instrumentation commodities will be an added advantage (DCS, PLC, Cables, Transmitter, UPS, digital gauges, etc)
- Should be able to prepare and approve Quality Assurance Plan.
- Should have minimum 3-4 years hand on experience on Testing of panels at Factory / site is an added advantage
- Should be able to provide technical inputs/RCA for quality issues and troubleshooting
- Should be able to identify site / supplier process gaps and drive improvements
Soft Skills:
- Should have good knowledge on Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Should have basic knowledge on QC tools.
- Should be collaborative and decision maker.
- Should have good knowledge in NCR management
- Should be open for extensive travel pan India
