R&D Associate Engineer

You will be working as R&D Associate Engineer, reporting to R&D Team Lead for Electrification Business Area for Distribution Solutions Division based in Bangalore. In this role you will be responsible for continuously creating new technology based innovation by contributing extensively to successful Product releases for Electrification Business.

Your responsibilities

• Responsible for analysis, design and development of product features for PCM600.
• Defining product features and maintaining UI/UX design concepts.
• Designing and implementing product features based on requirements.
• Proposing innovative solutions for customer requirements.
• Collaborating well with the team, to deliver the product releases on time, with good quality.
• Aligning with assigned targets (time, cost, quality) and completing project deliverables.
• Demonstrating sound understanding and usages of R&D processes and tools.

Your background

• BE / B. Tech / ME / M. Tech in Computer Science/ Electrical or/Electronics and communication / Electronics and Instrumentation.
• Minimum 4 to 8 years’ experience in software development using .NET technologies, preferably using C# .NET,
• WinForms and WPF.
• Strong object-oriented programming and design skills.
• Design and development skills in C#\WPF\.NET – Expert.
• Knowledge in SCADA system (communication with IEC61850).
• Should have good knowledge on design concepts.
• Should be able to identify and fix defects.
• Responsible to provide input for technical documentation and online help.
• Should be able to provide inputs for creating test cases, for customer requirements.
• Familiarity with continuous integration using TFS/GIT.
• Good communications skills.
