📝 Job Description
As a Quality Engineer, you are passionate about quality and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will create, maintain, and execute test plans to verify requirements, acting as a catalyst in the development and testing of high priority initiatives. 🔍💡
⚙️ What You Will Do
- Develop Test Strategies and Plans in conjunction with App Engineering, Architecture, and Prod Arch, including data creation and management. 📝
- Identify regression tests for future scenarios. 🔄
- Create and assure re-usable, automated tests. 🤖
- Execute all test cases and detect defects early. 🕵️♂️
- Establish common defect severity definitions across the company for aligned processes. 📊
- Ensure end-customer needs drive processes for a flawless experience. ⭐
- Raise any issues with developers and product owners. 🚨
- Create test automation suites with proper documentation. 📑
- Shorten feedback loops to deliver products faster and with higher quality. ⚡
🎓 What Experience You Need
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or similar. 🎓
- 4+ years of experience in Testing. ⏱️
- 2-3 years of software development/testing working experience. 💻
- Experience with Test Case and Defect management tools. 🛠️
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (B2-C1 BELT level). 🗣️
- Experience working in UNIX environments. 🖥️
🌟 What Could Set You Apart
- Knowledge of Google Cloud. ☁️
- Experience with Jira. 📋
- 1-2 years of testing automation experience. 🤖
- ISTQB certification is a plus. 🏅
- Strong development skills in Java and/or Python. 💻
