You will be working as Procurement and Logistics Specialist and will be part of Process Automation business for BA Function Operation Centers and Quality division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Global Procurement Manager and will be responsible supporting the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of procurement & logistics (PL) Practice approved activities. Executing assigned activities based on the standard procedures.
- Designing and implementing plans for local sourcing to reach the business targets. Supporting regional and global sourcing initiatives as required. When working for GBS centers, support specific assigned tasks related to sourcing, like e-sourcing activities
- Applying and implements PL standards, tools, and processes in the area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability
- Creating and updates reports, as required, following the ABB standards
- Executing and implements new directions within the area of responsibility.
- Applying standards on health, safety, environment and business ethics within operational work, contract management and negotiations
- Delivering and participating in training programs as required for compliance and professional development
- Executing effective and transparent communication internally, externally and between different units and centers
- Standardizing processes and implements routines as per group directives/instructions
Your background
- Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of technology - Electrical, Electronics / Mechanical Engineering
- 3-10 years of experience required in the relevant field
- Prior experience in SCM, procurement, sourcing.
- Team handling experience with excellent communication skills
- Good product knowledge, collaborative and analytical skills
