You will be working as Production Engineer, reporting to Marketing & Sales Manager for Electrification business area, Distribution Solutions division based in Nashik, India. You will be responsible for Lead a team within a production unit or line in the execution of production processes to transform parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely, cost-effective manner
Your responsibilities
- Ensuring continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards and policies
- Organizing and allocating resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently
- Ensuring that production scheduling and production plan meets the volume requirements agreed in the demand plan and defined inventory service levels
- Identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary
- Ensuring execution of volume, conforming product, and on-time delivery targets for the assigned production lines
- Identifying deficiencies in production area, proposes improvement activities, and overseeing implementation of actions to improve production performance
- Managing the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams
Your background
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in production for GIS/AIS
- Basic knowledge of SAP-MM and SD module
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence both internally and externally
