Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Lean Manufacturing.

• Method Study & Method Improvement. Layout Improvements & Shop floor modifications.
• Value stream mapping to reduce cost of production.
• Knowledge & Application of JIT, KANBAN, Standardization, LCA.
• Most Study & process improvement through POKAYOKE etc.
• Work content optimization reducing NVA
• MOST implementation in shop floor & application of the same while in discuions with related partners (Union, workmen, Production officers )
• Master layout preparation & update whenever required.
• Logistic planning, (line side supply & storage)
• Plan for material handling aids & equipments.
• Identify & implement improvement projects for continuous improvement in PQDSCM
• Capacity Planning.

Drive low cost automation, de-bottlenecking & quality cost reduction.

• Revenue and capital budgeting and monitoring

Drive innovation throughout the plant and plan for patients registration
Drive extenal and internal competitions participation / represent Organisation in industry body symposia
Drive associate suggestion sheme (i4)

Experience

3 to 5 years in Automobile / Engg Industry working in Industrial engineering.
