Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conducts component and product integration.
  • All activities that span multiple components and products and are concerned with how to integrate for maximum performance and operability.
  • Manages product and systems requirements, specifications and flow down.
  • Drives validation and verification activities for the overall product/system, including system level testing.
  • Responsible for defining product requirements for the module / component / subcontractors and partners teams. Manages interface between components and execution organizations.
  • Responsible for driving CTQ / Risk trades within the teams designing the components. Manages the overall product configuration and configuration control system.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Computer), Computer Science or similar technical discipline.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated competency in understanding functionality of complex systems involving software designs and their integrated interactions.
  • Relative Industry Systems Engineering or relative co-op systems engineering experience.
  • Experience in design verification of complex systems.
  • Experience in medical device standards and regulations.
  • Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORs.
  • Experience in systems architecture and integration for complex systems.
  • Experience in design engineering for medical devices.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel).
  • Experience with defect management tools.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents (i.e. Engineering and Manufacturing).

Good to Have Skills:

  • Experience in design engineering for Anesthesia Systems, Critical Care Ventilators, or other life support devices.
  • Experience in design engineering for medical devices.
  • Experience in risk management of medical devices.
