Purpose of the Position (Job Summary)
- We are looking for a highly organized Diploma Engineers. After initial training of 1 month, they would be supervising various aspects of Production activities such as creation of production schedules, oversee production processes and ensure that the required materials are available in Store basis prior requisition submission.
- The Diploma Engineer DET will also responsible for ensuring that machine is functioning correctly and that health and safety protocols are adhered to.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Financial
- To attain Production Targets as per the defined Annual Operating Plan.
- To work with production teams to ensure cost-effective, high quality and timely delivery of products.
Customer Oriented
- To look after the quality norms and process control.
- To recommend process improvements to enhance production, quality and capacity for end customer.
People Oriented
- To look after the multiskilling of workmen at respective section.
- To provide job training to workers to meet production goals
Internal Business Process
- To attend team meetings to discuss about production status and ongoing problems.
- To establish and enforce company policies and safety procedures for staffs.
- To work with managers to analyze job orders and develop production tasks and schedule.
- To plan and assign daily job duties to workers.
- To recommend changes in workflow, operations and equipment to maximize production efficiency.
- To investigate problems, analyze root causes and define resolutions.
- To ensure that final product meets quality standards and customer specifications.
