Key Responsibilities and Skills:

Design of electrical system including load estimation

Preparation of key and detailed single line diagram

preparation of DBR, Preparation of protection SLD

Sizing of electrical equipment like transformer, HT & LT switchgear, UPS etc.

Design of DC system, HT & LT cable sizing,

Earthing system design, Lightning protection design including risk analysis calculation

Cable carrier system design, Lighting system design,

Fault calculation using Excel program and ETAP

Elevator system, DG system, Preparation of Electrical equipment GA,

Solar Power generation for Commercial/Residential buildings design and review.

Knowledge on high voltage system including GIS and AIS for infrastructure development projects, Building projects, Hospital, etc.

Preparation of GFC drawings, Review of Vendor drawings, Interdisciplinary coordination, Inputs to other discipline, Preparation of detailed BOQ, cost estimation, Knowledge on CPWD SOR, Knowledge on PAR estimation. Technical support during execuion and commissioning.

He should be capable of reviewing the complete Electrical system DBR, layouts, specification, BOQ, cost estimate prepared by other agencies. The Person should be capable of giving the value addition suggestion to optimize the cost and improve the design. The person is capable of expediting the electrical document from other agencies. The person should have the knowledge on the procurement of electrical system.

Inspection of various electrical equipment at factory, site.
