JD For Senior Engineer:
Senior engineer required for Design and Development group working on Aerospace projects; such as electromechanical actuators, electric motors, power conversion products, motor drives etc. Additional responsibilities may include task planning, preparation of schedules and estimates, resolving technical problems with the customer, and technical design / reviews with both internal & external customers.
Qualification & Experience:
- Masters or Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Mechatronics from a reputed university, Preferably IIT’s/IISc/NIT’s
- Industrial Relevant Experience: 4 - 6 years in design, analysis and development of low frequency electromagnetic devices /machines and switched mode power supplies (SMPS)
- Thorough knowledge of electromagnetic devices (Transformers, Electric Machines etc).
- Working knowledge of the design, development and analysis of electric machines (Axial flux, radial flux BLDC, SRM etc)
- Knowledge on magnetic sensors (LVDTs), Solenoids and/or Torque Motors will be of added advantage.
- Knowledge of power electronic devices, converters, drives, power supplies and control electronics is desirable.
- The candidate shall be familiar with simulation tools for electromagnetic design: Ansys Maxwell, RMxprt, MotorCAD.
- Familiarity with ANSYS, Pro-E, PSIM, PSPICE & MATHCAD simulation tools is a plus
- Work experience as a member of a design team and shall be aware of product lifecycle
- Strong oral and written communication skills with employees at all levels
- Goal planning skills; team player skills; self starter
