This exciting role is a great opportunity for an experienced Supply chain Engineer. You will be at the heart of DI (Diagnostic Imaging) Systems and will be managing on time introduction of new products & industry transfers by interfacing between R&D, Procurement Engineering & Operations to realize product introduction/ transfer in stipulated time frame & in accordance with supply chain strategy.

You are responsible for
New product Introduction
- Establish E2E supply chain (Inbound and Outbound) i.e. Supplier mapping, Capacity assessment Container utilization etc
- Represent Supply Chain Functions such as Planning, Ops Procurement, Spares, Order Desk, Warehousing & Impex and ensure requirements are addressed in the NPI / Industrial product transfer.
- Define Make / Buy strategy work out Business Case
- Preparation of overall operations project plan for NPIs
- Work with sourcing for Supplier selection, development and PPA
- Involvement in Design reviews, DFMEA , DFM, Prototype Builds and ensure operations requirements are met
- BOM structure finalization suitable with supply chain and manufacturing strategy and Co Ordinate for SAP enrichment, MBOM in SAP
- Supply Chain support for NPI / Mfg. Transfer proto builds
- Ensure smooth transfer to Operational engg.
- Lead and manage design change management thru change control board
- Drive compliance with Quality management system, Regulatory and Ensure a smooth ramp-up from production launch;
- Manage PIPO of components effectively & thereby minimizing the potential obsolescence cost.
- Communicates internally about project progress and required resources, so that the organization can anticipate to future developments
- Achieve all project Milestone deliverables during the Product Realization Process(PRP) stages

Within DI Systems, the Order-To-Cash process entails all the activities from receipt of customer order to delivery at hospital site. Within the Order-To-Cash process there are 5 key activities handled by 5 teams, namely: S&OP/Order desk, Planning & Execution Control, NPI Supply Chain Management, Operational Procurement and Physical Distribution. You will be part of NPI Supply chain management team.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Education Qualification:
a) BE/ B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Work Experience:
Years of Experience: Preferably 6~8 years’ experience in a complex assembly/test industry (Majorly Non-Automobiles)
Area of Experience:
- NPI, Global Industrial X’fer Project Handling
- Supply chain set up
- Design Change Management
- Experience in leading multi-disciplinary projects
- Experience in SC, Quality management, Vendor Development, Procurement
Technical/Functional Competencies:
- Supply Chain Planning & Design
- Supplier Evaluation & Assessment
- Vendor Master/Material Master Setup, SAP MM & PP
- DFM, DFA, Part Development, Process FMEA, Process Control & PPA/PPAP
- LEAN, 6 Sigma & Value Engg.
- Logistics Compliance ( DG , BIS , WPC )
- Proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent communicative and social skills
