Dubai Jobs-WTS Energy- Piping Mechanical Engineer
WTS Energy is seeking to hire Piping/Mechanical role for one of its client who is a reputed EPC company.
Location: Dubai
Responsibilities:
• To study the isometric drawing received from Engineering Team and identify pipelines and carry out the inspection work.
• Check flow direction arrows on valves; verify that they are properly identified, and valves are installed in accordance with flow direction
• Ensure that pipe supports, hangers and guides have been installed in accordance with the piping drawings and the pipe support details
• Ensure that inline instruments have been installed in accordance with the piping drawings and the piping hook up
• Line check to verify the use of correct material fittings, valves, and supports, prior to hydro test and prepare punch list for incomplete works, check and closing after the work is done
• Assist Supervisor Head to Monitor the QA/QC Documentation of the subcontractors and ensure that all the activities are incorporated to their system on daily basis and can be traced according to our requirements
• Assist Supervisor Head to supervise and inspection of cold and hot insulation, cladding on piping and equipment.
• Assist Supervisor Head to Review and monitor the availability of drawings, specifications, job instructions, material deliveries and tools applicable to the discipline and area of work
• Assist Supervisor Head to Develop plans and specifications for the project
• Create plans according to procedures and regulations that account for safety, communicating these plans to their team
• Prepare As Built Drawing
• Work within the discipline and adhere strictly to the latest project drawings, specifications, procedures, and site Instructions
• Work with the contractor's staff, Senior Piping Supervisor, Planning Engineer and Construction Engineer
• Participates in and oversees the installation and repair of piping systems. This requires a full understanding of the project plans and specifications
• Ultimately respect both the safety and the environment procedures and regulations
• Master’s degree in Technical Discipline
• 5 – 10 years of piping engineering experience
• 5 – 10 years of piping construction experience
• Experience in Modules construction is a preferred skill

• Showing proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD system
• Able to do physical work for long hours
• Able to work a flexible schedule
• Knowledge of Piping Inspection
• Strong Analytical think and problem-solving skills
• Strong English – speaking / writing / listening
• Availability to travel for short and long period to the sites
