Management Trainee

Job Objective

To work closely with Business Head levels for providing insights of all activities for next 2 to 3 years

To determine pricing strategy, customer profitability analysis and establish risk management processes

To lead the analysis and interpretation of financial trends requiring management’s attention and will independently generate models and analysis to support theories / ideas

Ensure the ATF strategic projects are completed on time and to the required standard of quality while ensuring the application of company’s standards, policies and procedures

Preparation of Annual Plans including Budgets and their periodical reviews for course correction, if required;

Co-ordination with other Business Units and Departments at operating level;

Understanding & Analysing new trends in business

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategic Roles & Responsibilities

I. Planning & Analysis

Originate and develop analyses to help Executive leadership team to better understand trends and opportunities (e.g., cost savings, business development, etc.)

Understanding aviation industry and fuel/refining industry

Evaluate and manage performance of the organization and ensure awareness of Executive Leadership team of the performance

Analyze industry trends and competitor strategies in order to identify and make recommendations on opportunities

Develop pricing strategy

II. Commercial & Procurement

Provide commercial inputs to Business Development teams for the Business

Identify and develop potential sourcing opportunities

Develop risk identification and mitigation strategies

Lead development and implementation of annual procurement plan and long-term forecasts

Monitor procurement process of order management, materials planning, purchasing, store management and inbound logistics

Design and implement initiatives for improving operational efficiency, process improvement and cost optimization

III. CXO/Business Head Office

Monitor timelines set by CEO/BH for agendas and follow up with Function / stakeholders to ensure timely completion

Prepare synopsis or briefs for subjects or projects as per requirements of the CEO/BH for further discussion

Preparation and tracking of key business KPIs

Co-ordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure that urgent papers/issues are addressed by the concerned stakeholder in CEO’s/BH's absence e.g. business travel, vacation etc.

Technology and IT Enablement

Proficiency in MS word, Excel and Power Point
