Shell hiring Sr.Process Data engineer-
The Role
Job Purpose:
Provide support to Shell’s OUs as an AVEVA PID USER & ADMIN in drawing management systems.
Candidate primarily works will be on AVEVA PID & AutoCAD
Business Dimensions:
The role is expected to be the expert in AVEVA PID User & administrator and closely engage with an OU in updating the technical specification, trouble shooting, user management suggests improvement solutions for improving the overall quality of work. Also, provide training and guidance to other drafters while replicating best practices from stakeholders and partner organizations.
Principal Accountabilities:
Should have extensive experience as an AVEVA P&ID User.
Has extensive experience in working as an AVEVA P&ID Administrator.
Understand the completeness and consistency across the entire project for improving quality and reducing rework
Strong understanding of fundamentals of mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, civil structural and process discipline required for intelligent P&ID creation.
Proficiency in AVEVA P&ID with sound drafting experience and quality check process
Proficiency in performing all AVEVA P&ID Administration activities is a must.
Setting up P&ID Backup - Restore environment, Symbols Customization, Report customization, creation of Datasheet Templates, Security setup, Naming Rules, ISO15926 compliance, P&ID workshare and setting up AVEVA P&ID in Thin client & Thick client environment.
Troubleshoot all errors & issues.
Implement draftsmen’s requirements
Provide tooltips & retrieve the Plant PBS from AVEVA P&ID.
Experience in converting non intelligent P&ID to intelligent AVEVA P&ID
Having knowledge in Digital twin and hands-on experience in AVEVA P&ID, AVEVA Instrumentation, AVEVA Engineering, AVEVA Net will be added advantage.
Knowledge in integration between E3D model & P&ID in AVEVA environment.
Proficiency in drafting/detailing/review/managing technical documents and drawings.
Ability in providing technical support, quality checks and sharing recommended practices and standards to drafters and designers.
Ability to provide internal training on AVEVA P&ID

The role primarily involves remote support to the Shell operating units/sites in the drawing management & updates.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Education/Experience:
Mechanical / Piping Engineering Degree/ Diploma with 5-7 years of work experience in
Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical Industry - operating assets and/or a varied range of brownfield projects.
A minimum of 6 years experience as Designer and Administrator in AVEVA PID
Review and prepare piping design deliverables (i.e., Bill of Material, Isometrics and Piping GA Drawings)
Knowledge in Information Management and Integrated Engineering Systems processes and principles
Familiar with international codes, standards, recommended practices, and knowledge level in Shell Dep will be added advantageous.
Piping/Mechanical design & technical disciplinary drawings in design, drafting & engineering firms/ consultancy firms/ plant environments/industry past the professional degree/diploma.
Result-oriented with goal setting for self and team.
Leadership skills and team engagement.
Highly Preferred skills are:
Strong knowledge in 2D tools such as Auto-cad.
Acting as an interface with other disciplines to overcome design/drafting issues
Strong knowledge in AVEVA suites and Digital twin.
