Job Description Summary
Install, maintain, and repair internal factory equipment. Supervise employees who perform maintenance and tool making. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Asst. Manager Facility Job Descriptions:
- ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes.
- Adhering to and improving health and safety standards.
- ensuring that the facility is operating as it should on a daily basis
- dealing with emergency issues that arise.
- formulating plans for the future
- creating plans for replacements and repairs.
- developing and managing vendor contracts.
- supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment’s like industrial chiller, AHU, Dryers, compressors, dust extraction system, Fire hydrant pump house, Resin tank & all other facility equipment’s.
- develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements
- conduct and document regular facilities inspections
- allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiency
- coordinate intra-office moves
- supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment’s like industrial chiller, AHU, Dryers, compressors, dust extraction system.
- oversee facility refurbishment and renovations
- plan and manage facility central services such as reception, security, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and parking.
- Ensuring that the lighting, heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems are operating properly to provide good working and/or living conditions for occupants
- implement best practice processes to increase efficiency
- obtain quotes and tenders from vendors and suppliers
- calculate and compare costs for goods and services to maximize cost-effectiveness
- coordinate and monitor activities of contract suppliers
- manage contractor and vendor relationships
- manage and review service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met
- ensure delivery schedules, quantity and quality criteria are met
- check completed work by contractors and vendors
- verify payment and invoicing match contract pricing
- plan and monitor appropriate facility management staffing levels
- ensure efficient utilization of facility maintenance staff
- performance manage, develop and train staff
- prepare and track facility budget
- monitor expenses and payments
- generate and present regular reports and reviews of facility-related budgets, finances, contracts, expenditures and purchases
- develop and implement cost reduction initiatives
- advise on and monitor energy efficiency
- Take initiative in energy conservation programs.
- Having knowledge of ISO: 50001-2011(EnMS).
- oversee environmental health and safety
- assure security of the facility
- respond to facility and equipment alarms and system failures
- provide prompt response to requests and issues from facility occupants
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Facilities Engineering or related qualification such as project management, business management or electromechanical work management. Work experience 10+ years.

- Having FMP/CFM certificate will be adding advantage.
