We are looking for a Controls engineer – PLC Programming to come join our team. As controls engineer – PLC programming ; part of the Instrumentation and Controls team you will work in a multidisciplinary project team executing systems Projects (Thermal Oxidizer system, Vapor Recovery Units, Vapor Combustion Units, Process Burners, Boiler Burners and Flare systems). You will be responsible for the design and specification of the control system and the programming of the PLC. You will create design schematics, write and install computer programs, and test the efficacy of the installed program and you will ensure that the Control systems meets the contract and customer requirement for quality and on time delivery.
What You Will Do In Your Role
Bachelor’s / master’s Degree in Software Engineering, Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical Engineering- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in design and engineering of PLC cabinets, Burner Management Systems & Combustion Control Systems for Oil and Gas
- Be conversant with ISA Standards ISA S-5.1, NFPA-85, NFPA-86, ASME B 15.104, IEC 60079, NEC 500/505.
- Must be conversant with P & ID Diagrams, Cause and Effect Charts and Boolian Logic Diagrams / SAMA drawings
- Knowledge of EN 61508 Functional Safety of control systems and SIL requirements.
- Experience on different type of communication protocols like Modbus, Profibus and Fieldbus
- Should have hands-on programming experience and HMI and SCADA development with Rockwell Automation – Allen Bradley, Siemens PLC Systems
- Experience on configuration of PID controllers and complex loops is desirable
- Experience on Electrical design of PLC cabinets
- Experience of selection of PLC parts based on architecture and project specifications.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- A logical approach, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Should have a valid passport and willing to travel within India or overseas for any organizational requirement.

What Will Put You Ahead
- Working experience with various Engineering Consultants, OEMs.
- Experience on different PLC platforms / Brands (HIMA…)
- Experience of attending HAZOP and SIL studies will be an advantage
- Experience of designing and Engineering of outdoor panels in Hazardous area is desirable
- Experience with Hazardous area Instrumentation.
- Experience with Fired Boilers, Heaters, Thermal Oxidizers or Incinerators control systems
