Supply Chain Analyst
In November 2020, ABB announced the planned divestment of its Turbocharging Division. Turbocharging is a successful and profitable Division in a mature market and has been for long a highly self-reliant business within ABB. ABB has decided to take this step, acknowledging that for Turbocharging to realize its full potential going forward, a new setup is required. As the next step, alternative ownership options, including a spin-off to the Swiss stock market, will be assessed, considering value for customers, ABB and the future of the turbocharging business. This is a Supply Chain Analyst role, reporting to SCM local division Manager in Process Automation Business Area, based out of Vadodara; India. You will be primarily responsible to conduct a data analysis and bring insights to improve our supply chain operations and to help our supply chain to run as smoothly and profitably as possible.
- Designing reports based on specifications using different data sources.
- Creating processes and methods to gather supply chain data.
- Preparing and distributing timely Supply Chain analysis reports to manager.
- Providing insights and continuous improvement on processes, reporting and metrics.
- Providing trainings in data analytic tool (Business Warehouse & SAP Analytics Cloud)
- BSc/BA in Logistics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management.
- 2 - 5 years of experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or similar role required, preferably in a global/ multicultural environment.
- Excellent analytical, logical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in data mining and reporting.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g. purchasing, inventory planning).
- Working knowledge of MS Office and analytical tools (e.g. Business Warehouse, SAP Analytics Cloud or Power BI).
- Excellent communication skills in English language, other languages will be added advantage (German/ Chinese).
