Roles And Responsibilities
- Execute design and analysis activities for casing structures or parts in cold and hot modules of aviation engines for issue resolution, performance improvements, cost/weight reduction, Durability and producibility improvements
- Drive and deliver on cost, performance & weight targets
- Should collaborate with PSE for developing field plan
- Should network & establish strong connections with Commodity CTHs, Cross functional teams viz. Supply Chain, Repair, MAE, CTPs and Shop technical teams to develop strategies for achieving the desired outcomes
- Foster and inspire a collaborative work style and display team-oriented behavior with proactive communication internally and externally
- Provide technical guidance & mentor engineers in team
- Leverage digital tools & analyze the data insights to drive appropriate actions
Required Qualifications
- PhD/MTech /MS/BTech/BE in Mechanical/Aerospace
- 12+ years of relevant experience on Mechanical design/hardware ownership/ Finite element analysis of rotating parts preferably in aircraft engine/gas turbine domain.
- In-depth understanding of mechanical design fundamentals
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Ability to navigate through uncertainties and define the path for the teams.

- Exposure to Heat transfer analysis, Lifing methodologies, Manufacturing processes will be added advantage
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to influence others and lead small teams. Lead initiatives of moderate to complex scope and impact.

- Effective problem identification and solution skills.
- Proven analytical and organizational ability.
