JOB DESCRIPTION:
To perform quality inspection on inward material/ component of electronic or electromechanical parts and work with supplier quality issues directly with manufacturer and communicate status on non-conforming parts/suppliers across all relevant functions. Evaluate supplier performance, determine appropriate Inspection processes and provides guidance to Receiving Inspection function at the site level. Responsibilities Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. other duties may be assigned.
1. Serve as the focal person for commodity related quality and functional issues that stem from components being purchased for manufacturing.
2. Ensure that all production critical supplier issues are resolved in a timely manner, and corrective actions are implemented correctly.
3. Serve as the point of contact for Inspection Plans and Inspection Methods, and provide guidance to Receiving Inspection Auditors.
4. Ensuring ongoing site supplier evaluation is performed. This would be achieved by using site information collected from Receiving Inspection, MRB, DMR, Customer Returns, SCAR database. Performance will be reported internally, to the supplier, and to the customer where applicable.
5. Perform supplier audit interfacing with Quality Head if applicable.
6. To carry out Goods Inward inspection for all component parts entering the company ensuring compliance to engineering specification / part specification
7. To provide documentation to perform Inspection of components per Inspection Plans in EPICOR/SAP/ ERP system.
8. Perform Raw material Inspection activity as per Quality Plan and specification.
9. Prepare inspection report in intranet system and release of material.
10. Perform inspection activity and generate DMR in case of any Non-conformity
11. Maintain departmental records on daily MES entries in system.
12. Responsible to Follow ESD & safety procedure
13. Perform inspection of new part specially mechanical part and maintain report
14. Ensuring Non-conforming materials are clearly identified, segregated and actions are taken on all identified non-conforming materials.
15. To Perform 5S, daily and regular cleaning of work area and ensure IQC area
16. Review all internal or supplier/ customer discrepancies. Coordinate and track the corrective/preventative action effort.
17. Provide trend analysis of defects occurring at the customer, supplier and internally. Prepare weekly / monthly report and data analysis for improvement actions.
18. Drive proactive participation with process owners aid in their process improvement efforts.
19. Interface with all departments as applied to the Quality Policies and Procedures with special regard to ISO, IPC, ESD Compliance and requirements.
20. Maintain documents and records of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485 & IATF 16949 standards as per QMS requirement.

22. Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by Quality Manager/ MR. Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
23. Assist HOD on departmental activity as guide

Diploma / B.E. (ECE / EEE)
