Full Job Description

Responsibilities of Deputy Manager Production

Drive Production as per Schneider performamce sysem guidelines 

Resource Management as per demand 

Drive best in class Safety Culture , Qulaity Culture, SIM Culture, SPS Culture, 5S Culture along with the team. 

Lead SPS SIM , Production tracking, 5s, Operation Management and all supporting clauses 

Follow all Digital tools which is applicable for managing production 

Manage very good emploee connect and engagaement 

1. Shift in-charge shall be responsible for the entire factory premises of their respective shifts. 

2. However, Shift in-charges for first and second shifts shall restrict be responsible for their respective production area only once the management personnel have reported in general shift 

3. Personnel involved in watch and ward, house-keeping, canteen / pantry services, contract personnel and company personnel in other functions such as Safety, Quality, Maintenance, Utilities, Administration shall report to the Shift In-charge in the respective shifts. 

4. The Shift In-charge shall take control of the situation in case of emergency (emergency preparedness) / untoward incidents in the factory premises in their respective shifts and also keep the Plant Head, Manager HR and Manager Admin and EHS updated accordingly and seek guidance and accordingly act to address / thwart the situation 

5. Information of emergency contacts, key management personnel, key installations in the factory to be readily made available to the Shift In-charge 

6. Any entry and exit of the personnel from the factory premises in the respective shift shall be based on the sole authorization of the Shift In-charge 

7. Shift In-charge shall maintain and submit an Occurrence report to the factory management on a daily basis and also do the handing over and take-over of the incumbent Shift In-charge and Production Engineer 

8. Target achievement in production 

9. Employee discipline 

10. Monitoring the employee productivity, leave approvals, signing of employee movement pass, attendance, raising issues concerning to quality, raw material warehouse, escalating issues related to production to Production Engineer 

11. Conducting SIM meetings, following laid down procedures and processes as per SPS and other ISO documentations

Qualifications 

BE/BTech or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 4-6 years of experiance
