Work in a global team as an Individual contributor with significant responsibilities and ownership of magnetic and basic signal conditioning circuit design. The responsibilities include magnetic simulation, electronic circuit simulation, design and development, prototyping of magnetic and electronic circuits, functional characterization and verification testing. Will be working along with various support teams such as simulation, mechanical drafting & CAD, Electronic CAD, evaluation, manufacturing, marketing, supply chain etc. Additional responsibilities include technical report generation, documentation and progress reporting. It is also expected that the candidate would develop technical expertise in selected product line and develop proposals/growth ideas & work for improving the product line.
Candidate is expected to have in depth knowledge in physics/ magnetic principles with ability to use this knowledge on magnetic sensors & various magnetic sensing technologies. He/She needs to have proven record of design delivery in a New Product Introduction (NPI) team for at least 3 yrs. He/She should have strong communication and presentation skills.

Sound knowledge of magnetic and electronic designs with followings
Hands-on knowledge of sensors and application of sensors, instrumentation & interfaces.
Conceptualize the product and translate the requirements into CTQs for design
Predict and quantify technical risks in the project
Experience on full design life cycle projects in any two different magnetic designs
Experience in functional testing magnetic components and qualify for mass production
Knowledge on magnetic sensors & various magnetic sensing technologies
Knowledge of materials such as Permanent Magnets, Ferromagnetic materials & shielding
Knowledge of designing products for ASIL , Functional Safety Integrity Levels
Knowledge on understanding analytical & numerical methods. Exposure in developing analytical or numerical based models
Hand Calculations of Flux density, Magnetic force, Inductance, Capacitance etc
Expert in atleast 1 and Proficiency in 1 of Ansys Maxwell 3D, Siemens MagNet 3D and FARADAY.
Exposure in understanding CAD model/assemblies/tolerances of magnetic circuits
Programming capabilities in Excel based VB scripts/C/C++ or Matlab
Knowledge of design for EMI/EMC compliance
Knowledge of Design for manufacturability, assembly & testing expertise
Knowledgeable in usage of six sigma tools in projects
Having cross functional expertise is an added advantage
Should have strong communication skills
Knowledge in 1st level magnetic sensors, Speed, direction and Position sensing technology would be an added advantage
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
