Purpose Statement
Plan & inspect the quality of routine & non-routine (Project,shutdown,preventive & breakdown) Electrical jobs executed at shop floor to ensure performance of electrical equipments & systems throughout their rated life
Ensure quality of incoming Electrical assets & Electrical services for maximizing operational performanceKey Role & Responsibilities
Communicate to all stakeholders about any deviation in material receipt or rejection to the operation & maintenance team
Share the quality check report to the user
Organise & coordinate for training on new equipments and systems
Monitor vendor performance and quality of purchased goods and services
Inspect quality & give assurance of QC to each equipment & material received for function on daily basis
Initiate and evaluate the performance of contract employee and operatives submits report to Electrical Manager (Maintenance & QC)
Implement quality systems, procedure and inspection checklist for purchased electrical assets
Ensure randomly maintenance jobs are performed as per defined engineering guidelines and practices
Plan & organise energy conservation audits in the area
Conduct audit and submit reports to manager operations & maintenance
Conduct SAP audit and submit the report to functional head & maintenance manager
Highlight deviations due to quality of material / job based on inputs from the maintenance & operations team
Contribute in RCAs due to quality problems
Escalate the quality issues / defects to the operations team
Test all the electrical equipment & systems as per requirements immediate after receipt to store and before installations
Conduct timely system audits for quality objectives and get compliance to all audit points in given time frame
Conduct audits and reviews of the maintenance and operation jobs to ensure quality of jobs
