Job Descriptions
- Review / Develop designs, plans for utility systems, such as water, gas, and wastewater. Identify and resolve discrepancies in the documents received from the contractor. Direct project groups and/or technicians, providing activities.
- Review of Utilities designs /drawings /documents submitted by the contractor. This includes checking of design calculations and Preparation of all types of Layout design,Plumbing,Fire fighting systems, Building automation systems, Pipe Rack & Supports deliverables such as General Arrangement Drawings, Mechanical Package piping Drawings, 3D Models in PDMS, Plumbing, Supports, elevation Arrangement Drawings, Material Take-Offs, Routing drawings, cold and hot insulation, cladding on piping and equipment etc
- Engineering, coordination with associated disciplines like process, piping, instrumentation, electrical, civil structure for various equipment & packages.
- Prepare / review detailed calculations, drawings, technical specifications, procurement documents, design and installation packages, technical reports, cost estimates, detailed analyses for MEP systems, materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes.
- Scrutiny & approval of associated works for various equipment packages, piping routing,piping layout. Engineering and design for institutional & recreational (buildings, transit maintenance facilities, parking structures, water treatment pump stations, Subway & LRT stations, telecommunication facilities, and railway/bus yards).
- Provide technical & operational support to the Lead Engineer in the engineering and management functions required to successfully complete the project.
- Analyzes complex engineering problems and offer effective resolutions.
- Assists in the supervision of engineering, budgeting, and scheduling
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager as needed.
- Technical guidance to junior engineers and technologists incl. mark-ups and review of design and drafting.
- Familiar with International code & standards, Piping Design Plumbing code, Building Code, API, BS, codes and stand ards, Familiar with ASHRAE Standards and Industrial Ventilation guidelines,
- Assist the construction team during construction, reviewing and approving of drawings.

Job Specifications
- A bachelor degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in relevant field (Other than Electro-mechanical utilities including Plumbing, Firefighting, ETP, STP)
