Key Result Area:
- Lead and deliver the Capex procurement process for Mechanical Structures
- Drive the creation of sourcing recommendations in line with category strategies and program requirements, to meet cost, quality, delivery and performance targets. Ensure cross functional stakeholder agreement to sourcing recommendations
- Collaborate with Projects/Technical for Supplier Statement of Work’s (SSOW’s) creation and to ensure a clear and detailed requirements specification can be provided to suppliers at the RFQ stage.
- Keep a record of all design changes during the Project phase and the commercial impact of each change.
- Utilize strategic Procurement tools and techniques to drive maximum value (eProcurement, TCO, ‘Should-Cost’ Modelling, etc.). Lead and drive new technologies implementation within the organisation.
- Provide regular status report on the Procurement status of assigned projects highlighting clear performance against KPI’s & objectives.
- Work with Technical and Projects to maintain knowledge of market factors that could have an impact on the business to allow for effective discussion and negotiations.
Must have skills:
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with strong documentation and coordination practices; adherence to procedures
- Demonstrated strong ability in problem solving, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to prfioritize multiple task.
- Ability to develop process and procedures and embed these into robust processes and procedures.
- Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
- Expertise in managing ERP systems and digital processes
- Significant experience within Procurement and Supply Management; with a proven track record of delivering results within a global Procurement organisation.
- Highly skilled in Supplier Relationship Management – including negotiating and influencing
- Procurement in a manufacturing environment or within the Manufacturing Equipment Industry (+5 years).
- Managed Annual Capex Spend of INR 500 Crore or higher
