Product Requirement Fulfilment (PRF) is a part of Engineering Business Service Center(EBSC), Global Manufacturing. This department is responsible for handling QBD in manufacturing, performance monitoring of process & product, process assessment, early engagement with design and knowledge sharing with factories and business process creation and rollout. The department will consist of skilled industry experts within filed of manufacturing, process trouble shooting, optimization, cost reduction & solutioning through specialists located in Chennai, India

Responsibilities

• Ensure traceability of parts / products which includes vendor traceably (Batch / serial no identification, life cycle history) and as build Process data
• Incoming Inspection / First Article Inspection (FAI)
• Maintaining quality documents like NC reports, in-process inspection reports, MSA, CTQ reports, FPY reports, Audit reports, Dispatch inspection reports
• Quality Data Acquisitions in various ERP systems
• Conducting process audit and ensure the observations are closed on time
• Should be able to do Root Cause Analysis and kaizen / quality improvement projects using Quality tools
• Secure linkage of traceability throughout various ERP systems to Statement of Quality and set paper for final products shipped

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelors in electrical, mechanical, polymer or chemical engineering
• Minimum 4 years of experience in production quality background with logistics / SCM mindset
• Exposure towards international quality and materials standards (such as ASTM, ISO, ES)

Competencies

• Able to read and understand production documentation drawings, Production Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA), Manufacturing Control plans (MCP), Inspection Reports, Materials Test reports
• Good understanding of quality tools and handling of basic measuring instruments
• Motivated team oriented person with methodical approach & good communication skills
• Experience with QDA or other equivalent Quality Data Acquisition Software with supply chain understanding
• SAP or other ERP experience to secure data storage and retrieval
• Microsoft Office on user level
