This is a Production Development Specialist role, reporting to Manager in Electrification division located in Bangalore . Optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes and equipment in order to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs and safety.
Your responsibilities
- Responsible for Part inspection & approval as per Drawings.
- Responsible for FMEA (Failure mode effective analysis) for new products.
- Responsible for part testing & validation as per drawing requirements.
- Responsible in sharing specifications for development of Testing fixtures & Inspection gauges and their approvals.
- Responsible for preparation of Quality Plans, identifying CTQ’s based on drawings and product performance.
- Responsible for vendor finalization for development of Gauges & Fixtures.
- Coordinate with Tooling team and vendors for onsite inspection.
- Coordinate with Global R&D team for testing, validation & faster implementation of localization parts.
Your background
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 5 years of experience.
- Good knowledge of Control gear and Switchgear.
- Good knowledge of Quality process, LSS (Lean Six Sigma), Chemical & Raw material composition testing.
- Good knowledge on development of Inspection gauges, Fixtures & test setup.
- Communication Skills.
- Ability to solve complex issues.
