Full Job Description

Job Objective

To ensure closure of budgeted manpower requirements as per Talent Acquisition process in Natural Resources Vertical comprising of Mining, Integrated Coal Management and Bunkering.

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategic Roles & Responsibilities
1. Responsible for defining and driving talent acquisition strategies in Natural Resources vertical comprising of Mining, Integrated Coal management and Bunkering and reviewing it periodically in line with the evolving needs of the Businesses and market trends.

2. Monitor end-to-end talent acquisition process for Natural Resouces Vertical and taking a lead on attracting, sourcing, assessing, hiring and on boarding the best talent.

3. Maintain accurate records and conduct timely process audits to ensure process compliance and quality.

4. Evaluate the effectiveness of talent acquisition processes to improve the overall talent acquisition strategy and AEL - Natural Resources positioning among different segments in the talent marketplace.

5. Establish and facilitate roll-out of robust induction and onboarding framework for new hires to facilitate a quick assimilation to the Adani Group philosophy and work culture.

6. Actively benchmark and accordingly upgrade talent acquisition practices to attract top talent.

Must Have Knowledge, Skills & Experiences

HR Strategy and Governance
  • Experience of defining functional annual charter in collaboration with CEO and HR Head.

  • Experience of conceptualizing and implementing strategic talent acquisition initiatives in line with the organization's talent requirements.

  • Experience in ensuring adherence to the governance protocols.

  • Experience in analyzing health check report findings, identifying gaps for talent acquisition and implementing action plans to improve the employee experience.

  • Experience in designing the organization structure and drafting job descriptions for varied roles in the organization

  • Experience in implementing competency frameworks in recruitment and selection

  • Experience in ensuring the EVP is communicated appropriately to the potential external talent pool and thereby strengthening the sourcing channels.

    Talent Acquisition
  • Experience of engaging with businesses to understand their strategy and growth plans for the year and articulating a manpower plan aligned to the business plan; validate it with the top leadership

  • Experience in defining Talent Acquisition SOP encompassing step by step procedure to be followed, tools and templates to be used, desired TAT for different roles

  • Experience in formulating appropriate sourcing plan considering varied factors like criticality of the position, availability of required skill set in job market, no. of positions to be filled, job level, timelines etc.

  • Experience in running efficient employee referral programs

  • Experience in creation of guidelines for campus hiring: campus categorization, number of hires, etc. across applicable geographies

  • Experience in maintaining talent bank for future hiring

  • Experience in maintaining engaging relationship with prospective employees

  • Experience in usage of standard talent assessment & selection tools for usage as appropriate

  • Experience in defining and implementing the onboarding framework for varied set of employee segments

  • Experience in defining probation and confirmation guidelines for new hires

  • Experience in continually evaluating and improving the onboarding framework, to ensure new hires are inducted effectively

  • Exposure to new trends, technologies, selection tools to improve the overall recruitment and selection process and enhance candidate experience

  • Experience in evaluating the talent acquisition workflow and looking for opportunities to automate existing processes and achieve better productivity

  • Experience in deriving insights from statistical analysis of key talent acquisition metrics and designing interventions to address the gaps

  • Experience in partnering with HRBP to ascertain all pre-joining formalities have been fulfilled for prospects

  • Experience in partnering with HRBP to ascertain all admin, infrastructure and IT related provisions are made for the new hire

  • Experience in partnering with Shared Services to ensure system onboarding of new employees and maintenance of personnel files

    Qualifications
    Job Profile

    Educational Qualification: Essential: Masters in Human Resources from a reputed institution.

    Desired: Certification in behavioral & psyschometric assesment

    Experiences: 15 to 18years relevant experience in Talent Acquisition along with managing team of recruiters.
