With over 700 employees in 8 countries Business Stream Evaporation & Drying as part of the Tetra Pak Processing Systems & Equipment business unit, develops, delivers and facilitates a competitive portfolio of process solutions for the Food Industry. We are currently looking for a full-time Maintenance Engineer PDC to join our team at the Powder Solutions, Product Development Centre, Gorredijk, The Netherlands.
What you’ll do
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive maintenance log -Catalogue and manage spare parts and hazardous chemicals -Manage adequate consumable inventories -Plan and undertake preventative maintenance of both process equipment and utilities (steam, water, compressed air, wastewater system) -Ensure the preparation, assembly, and dismantling of installations for the needs of customer or internal tests: mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical part (optional) -Participate in PDC trials as required, for example, knowing how to control the manual and automatic operation of the system (main task of operator, but as back-up) -Participate in the manufacture and purchase of the equipment necessary to run PDC trials -Handle equipment and powders (forklift, overhead crane) -Ensure the cleaning of the facilities and the building (exc. office and amenities) -Maintain working area’s respecting hygiene and OHS rules -Co-ordinate external service providers (office cleaning company, premises owner duties) -Participate in the improvement of the main process area and utilities -Be proactive to modernize the test center to meet future needs -Manage powders, their storage, and their disposal in compliance with standards related to traceability and the environment
