Job Description
Ø Responsible for ensuring high availability of critical equipment’s and other packing line equipment’s uptime by more than 98% by executing the preventive maintenance as per maintenance schedule and explore various options for moving towards predictive maintenance.
Ø Responsible for carrying out the trouble shooting of packing machines which includes palletiser, filling machines, Orientator, conveyors, check weigher, printers etc, and familiar on root cause analysis, FMEA and problem solving techniques to identify the exact problem to propose change in design or logic to permanently solve the problems.
Ø Responsible for achieving line efficiencies (OEE) and upkeep of documents for traceability.
Ø Should have good control system knowledge & hands on experience in PLC, field Instruments etc. And also familiar with all types of communication protocols.
Ø Responsible for spares management and procurement for equipment uptime.
Ø Should have project experience to provide inputs for design / selection of equipment’s, verification of design / specification. Assist Manager/Sr.Manager in the procurement activity by identification of vendors, obtaining quotations, preparation of technical and commercial comparisons and evaluation.
Ø Provide inputs to ensure machine operations with all safety and process interlocks to ensure zero accidents, Zero spillage and no deviation in process specification.
Ø Responsible to completely prepare Permit to Work and Job Safety Analysis documents and Lead safety briefings to Instrumentation Group
Ø Understands lock-out Tag-out, working from Heights, Confined Entry requirements and strict adherence to the processes. Can lead and technically close out the near miss investigation. Ensure compliance of PPE.
Ø Should have good knowledge in SAP Modules for line integration like SAP MII, SAP EWM, SAP ECC etc
