Maintenance Technician
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for delivering high quality technical services and support to our customers ensuring that all issues are dealt with in the most effective and satisfactory way. This is an excellent opportunity to increase your knowledge and gain experience in the mechanics, electronics and automation field by performing services on our clients’ sites.
This is an permanent role based at Ahmedabad.
What you will do
As a Maintenance Technician you will:
- Participate in preparing customer site for installation events, assembling machines.
- Participate in execution of preventive maintenance activities.
- Inform relevant Tetra Pak staff in a timely manner about discovered Technical Issues.
- Participate in the installation of relevant rebuilding/upgrade kits.
- Inform relevant Tetra Pak Field Staff about ongoing service activities as well as of any issues affecting the customer or the quality of Tetra Pak service.
- Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak at all times, ensuring good working relationships with the customer and Tetra Pak colleagues and that Tetra Pak’s reputation is sustained.
- Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak and Customer safety regulations and requirements. Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak standards and requirements regarding product quality and food safety. Escalate all discovered food safety, quality assurance and regulatory issues.
- Comply with all reporting requirements.
Who you are
We believe you have:
- More than 3 years of experience, with good knowledge about all production processes
- 3 years experience in Installations, maintenance and/or repair work.
- Under supervision execute installation tasks and preventive maintenance tasks of less complex nature.
- Programming skills on Siemens S7-300 are required.
- Availability to travel and work in and outside BENELUX extensively.
- Programming skills on TIA Portal and HMI knowledge would be valued.
- Education Qualification – Degree in Engineering
